Sciclist says : I have used the previous version of the Ferret 1 for years and found it near perfect for cycle touring. This newer version has the two small porch poles which presumably improve on the ventilation which was the one modest inadequacy of the earlier version. Having two porches is very useful when you have all the bike bags to accommodate. In many years of interest in lightweight tents I have never seen one better than this. The Jack Wolfskin one, whose name escapes me, comes close but is not so roomy and has a slightly larger footprint which would make it less flexible in some free-camping situations.
