Vango Hydra 200 = Great tent!
10/10
I\'ve had a Hydra 200 for about 10 years now, and have found it to be a great piece of kit. Most recently, I used it on a 16 day long
LEJOG in the UK, where it performed brilliantly, easily fitting two blokes and all their cycling and camping gear with room to spare
It is not the lightest piece of kit around, and the 3-way front zip can be a bit fiddly, but for what I paid for this (it was sold as
shop-soiled), it has proved to be a bargain.

Cian: That water coming through the floor sounds a lot like condense, as there is nothing special about snow that would allow it to penetrate the fabric. So nothing that can be helped except by insulating anything warm (like yourself) from the cold ground. And thus, nothing you can fault the tent for...
usually good tent but during snow the snow came up through the groundsheet as water. Also during (I stress) gale force winds a pole snapped and another is permantly bent. But usually its great lots of space we managed to squeeze a third person into it but it was very squashed

strong semi-geodesic, with a great hydrostatic head. porch pole can be a bit difficult to insert but i can erect tent single handed in no time at all. reasonable room for two, would be better if had front and rear entrance choice. flysheet tensioning system is great and keeps everything snug, also has four rings hanging from inner tent so with a bit of adaption you coud fit a gear loft but vango dont make one for it. another neat option, if needed, is the double pole fitment as there are one extra set of eyelets on the pole anchor straps. snow can be a problem as it can gather on roof due to a flat spot. Altogether a good solid tent for most conditions without breaking the bank.
Ohhh Baby!
