; asks : Just purchased a green Diablo 600 to replace a well used blue one. Horrified to discover how transparent it once it had gone dark outside and we put a light on. Could see every detail from outside the tent. Certainly not a problem with the blue version. Has anyone else discovered this problem. Wondering if we have a faulty tent.

ken replied: You won\'t fit it on a 6m X 6m pitch, you need at least 8m X 7m

+ I CAN ANSWER TOO! Murgatroyd Family asked : Does anyone know the overall pitch length and wide required to pitch this tent. I\'m asking because several campsites now place a 6 or 7 meter restriction on overall tent sizes.

messyflux says : Awsome Tent , we have been campers all our lives and at 53 yrs now. When we camp we camp ! Comfort is our requirements . We dont like bending down. Im\'e 6ft 1\" and its perfect for me. We have had the Diablo 5 years now and used it in UK and France. Pitched on a coastal cliff in Normandy when all the other campers went home ( they knew something we didn\'t ). It held up in 50 pmh winds and rain and we were bone dry too. Also, In Cornwall every year for last 5 years , rained a lot but we stayed dry. Super groundsheets sewn in mean no creepy crawly\'s . Good porch area for cooking. Tips ... OIL THE ZIPS on main door and on the carry bag. Bad .... design on sloping door means it rains in direct onto floor , so buy also the Vango Sun canopy that clips on and stops this. Also , theres a mark 1 and mark 2 version . Mark 2 has a side door on porch. This tent takes me about 35 minutes to pitch. It\'s hard work too but well worth it. These are a remarkable and very much copied design. Bargain Buy for what you get. BIG and ROOMY.

family4 says : We are a family of 4. We have used this tent a number of times. The living area and the bedrooms are well designed and feel spacious - you can stand up in the main area! . The sewn in ground sheet keeps the drafts to a minimum and the insects out. It has withstood several storms. We love being able to keep the cooking separate in the porch. We would very much recommend this tent.
