where can i buy a vango diablo 400 as it is a discontinued line?
We have a vango diablo 400 xp which we have used for several weekends and a two week holiday in France. Wonderful tent, apart from the previously mentioned inner first pitching and the more serious problem of splitting poles. We are on our fourth split pole now after a weekend in Trowbridge. We have had a replacement set of poles from Vango, but the poles split while we are camping, and this is a big problem- you either ignore it until you leave, risking further damage, or have to practically take the tent down to mend on site. Seems we have just been unlucky, but I wonder why the 400 isn\'t made any more?

We have a vango diablo tent and we are going into our fifth season of camping with it. I must say we have found it to be excellent in all weathers, even pitched it at Great Langdale in the Lakes and for anyone who has been there will know how bad the weather can get!! Its great because evenin bad weather you can leave the smaller side door in the porch open, to ventilate the tent and let some air in and the tent sill remains dry!! also the large extra porch at the front is ideal for cooking and wet boots, etc ensuring the actual living space stays completely dry. It can be a pain to pitch asit is inner first but once you have done it a couple of times it can be pitched in around half an hour with two people. The living space is great and on an evening when it has got too cold to sit outside, the living space was big enough for all our friends (8 of us in total) to sit in and have a laugh until the small hours!!! we also use this tent with our three children, even though there are only two bedrooms, we do use the large living area as extra sleeping space. overall an excellent family tent. We have recently been looking around for a replacement tent due to the age of our diablo, but have decided to stick with it and give it a new coat of proofing as it is such a good tent and has done us proud we cant find anything to match up to its flexability, hope this helps

Takes a bit of practice but we can get our up in under 30 minutes. Once up a very large & stable tent that will take all that is thrown at it.

I found this tent really difficult to erect. As you have to pitch the inner tent first, it's even worse in the rain! It's almost impossible to pack back into the bag. However, it's a lovely tent when it's up; really light and airy inside. The quality is good too.
