SCAMPY T says : Had this tent for 3 years and i think it must be one of the best 2 man tents you can buy !,i spent a night ontop of a hill in 80-90 mph winds with rain coming side on and it was magic. Go get one you\'ll never look back.

SIBERJACK says : We love our tent - almost more than 15 years we use this one in the most difficult situations. Me and my wive making hiking in the most desolate area\'s of east Siberie. Now we want to buy a new one , but unfortunately they don\'t sell it anymore in green. THAT\'S TO BAD. Because we dislike the yellow colour. I hope soon they will make a new one in green, I think a lot of hikers will follow our opinion.

ste w says : what can i say. the best tent i have ever bought, it stayed up in all that mother nature could throw at it,its the most vesitile tent i have ever bought, its great in the winter and also been great in the summer without the flysheet although if it rained i piched it without attaching it to the inner giving more ventilation. if you get the chance buy one it wont let you down. cheers north face. ste

TrekMike says : Everything they say about the Westwind is true, but the weight is 3.05 kg in its original pack, complete, not 3.7 kg as quoted here. It is very strong in high winds. It is not the easiest or quickest tent to erect because the inner is erected first and getting at some of the attachments for the flysheet can be awkward.

TY says : Absolutely love(d) this tent had it for over 15 years with many 40+ day years on it. tons of winter trips (inlcuding -45 f) when a small tent is good for holding heat. Bomber in wind. compressed to the size of a cantelope (poles excluded). Nothing bad to say. fly finally failed (wife put it in the washing machine ahhhhhg!)
Peter says : Can be very cramped for an expedition tent. Unless you really want the lightweight feature, I suggest you buy the Mountain 25.
I have an experience with the Westwind I want to share!
