If you are familiar with the Outwell Hartford XXL, which was introduced in 2004, then you will appreciate this new entry to the market. The Marathon is a truly huge dome tent which can sleep 12 people (Great for budding Bedouin). Accessed from the large central living area are four 4-berth bedrooms (measuring 260x210cm), each equipped with a breathable polyester inner and a substantial air vent. The living area has a sewn-in groundsheet with a separate detachable groundsheet for the porch area. There are two doors off the living area each with a large window panel and they can be propped up to form a sun canopy. The construction of the tent is X-Flex coated shatterproof poles together with a fully taped seam, 3000mm hydrostatic head polyester flysheet.
