Bought mine back in the eighties and used it cycle camping in all conditions throughout Europe. Easy to assemble, sturdy and wind / waterproof in the harshest conditions. The rip stop material was a blesing and it\'s good to see that all these years on it\'s still up there with the best.

Served me very well on backpacking trips in wet & windy Wales & the Lake District.
Not a lot of situp headroom (Jetpacker Plus), but plenty of space for cooking & storage
in the porch. Needs care in pitching to avoid inner & outer touching, but when done
properly the tent can stand up to gales & driving rain. Needs the seams to be re-sealed
every year. I use my walking sticks (only used for backpacking) as tent poles. Can be
used outer only for lots of space. An excellent tent & better or equal to modern designs.

The Jetpacker sleeps one (or two at a squeeze) and is exceptionally strong, yet weighs only 1.4kg (1.5kg with A-pole). The Jetpacker plus sleeps two and weighs 1.75kg (1.85kg with A-pole).
