+ I CAN ANSWER! I\'m looking to buy the front extension for the montana. Does anyone know the best place to get a good deal (or have a second hand one that they no longer want)?
Many thanks
+ I CAN ANSWER! Can the latest models inner tent be used as a single space or only as 2 separate spaces?
We had a eurohike stowe which was very good, but too small in the \'living\' area. On a wet camping day we went to a camping shop saw the montana and bought it, got it back to camp site and put it up, we have used it 3 times since then andit is brill, once you get the hang of putting up and more to the point, taking it down (watch the outwell video on line) Nice big tent lots of good ideas, very strong. only problem has been one of the tyes that hold up the windows has come off, but that is easly fixed. biggest problem is when its wet how do you dry it, last tent we put it in bath and kept turning it, this would take up take up the bathroom!!!

This tent is brilliant it has withstood seriously bad weather during two of our camping holidays, when many other campers were left tent less. The massive family frontroom area is essential when camping with young children, we use the side porch area as a store room meaning it is very easy to keep the tent organised and tidy. The front canopy which can be purchased seperatly is also brilliant giving a really massive tent. I would definatly recommend this tent for anyone to buy, and suggest that people that are having problems with it may not be erecting it correctly.

Dreadful experience, went for test run before main holiday in Borrowdale, Cumbria. Tent leaked like a sieve, realised why they call it a bathtub groundsheet when it started to fill with water. Most expensive tent we ever bought mistakenly thinking it would be bulletproof. Fortunately when we returned it the shop had no replacements so we got our money back. We quickly bought a cheap Argos tent for our holiday, it has been wonderful and withstood wind and rain in abundance.

We bought one and went to Langdale - it was wet and windy and the roof poles bent and the roof poles bent and snapped. The tent collapsed and is useless now. We are trying to return it but it seems it is difficult to contact outwell direct.
If we had been inside it somone could have been hurst in the collapse.

Love this tent - survived a very wet and windy week in cornwall in July with no leaks. Very comfortable and ideal for young kids too
