+ I CAN ANSWER TOO! Has anyone had problems with the poles being to tight for the straps and tearing the straps the ends fit into?
The Fruity One, NZ replied: Yes, I have had this problem too. I am picking it up from being repaired under warranty today. I plan to shorten the poles to help this problem & take the tension off a little (just by half a centremetre each side). Otherwise I\'m happy with it but tend to use my smaller, lighter bivy bag for general hiking, and use this one more for short trips or driving to a site & camping. My dog likes getting in with me too!

+ I CAN ANSWER! I`m looking at Bivy`s and can`t find the size (L x W x H) for the Macpac Astro Cocoon bivy anywhere. Not even on their website! ??? Can anyone help?
has any on had trouble with the poles putting to much force on the straps for them?
perfect for light weight trekking in all weathers. Great design and plenty of room for a bivi.
10/10
Dry, lightweight and warm, little or no moisture inside the bag unlike many bivvies which are soaking after a single night in New Zealand conditions. Cross ventilation is superb and adjustable. Insect screens are well designed. Plenty of head room ,storage and width to turn over. Easier to get in and out of, zips good quality, this product is well designed and simply right for the job
