Specifically designed to go lean and mean, yet the Military ParaTipi has ample room for two men and their gear. At only 2 pounds, 14 ounces, it is exceptionally light for its square footage. A zippered door, mosquito netting and bigger footprint provide a bit more comfort for longer term missions than our ParaHootch.
Like our ParaHootch, the Military ParaTipi uses ultralight paraglider fabric in its construction - making it half the weight and twice the strength of 1.9 oz. ripstop nylon. It is silicone impregnated on both sides, making it absolutely windproof and waterproof.
The Military ParaTipi vs. the Hunter's ParaTipi
The Military ParaTipi has been designed as a strict go-light tent. Our civilian version has been in the hunting field for many years, and includes a stove pipe port for the addition of an optional woodburning stove.
