I makes so much difference to the living space and warms up the main tent because the extra layer of fabric over the top from the annexe acts as a fly sheet. I struggle to find bits for my tent though. Khyam seem to be very selective about where they retail!!
I bought this tent last year and found it incredibly easy to erect. Despite being 6 months pregnant at the time, I put it up single handedly in 20 minutes (including pegging) on my third attempt! It feels really sturdy and high quality. It is very roomy inside and has plenty of space for all the kit required when you camp as we do with 3 children and 2 dogs. It's also alot easier than most tents to pack away, as the bag supplied is plenty big enough. I cannot praise this tent enough. We can't wait to use it again this year!

For space and luxury you can\'t beat this tent. It\'s also fairly weather resistent. However, despite having put it up and taken it down at least twice a year for the last 4/5 years it STILL takes two of us ages to erect and just as long to pack away!
We have a Khyam Ridgidome XXL Ultimate, which is very similar to the tent above. We absolutely LOVE it and have had many wonderful holidays in it with no problems whatsoever. The poles are strong and sturdy and the outer fabric is very thick and well-sewn. Lots of roomy living space! My only suggestion would be to ALWAYS carry a couple extra joints for the bedroom poles, as they can crack with wear once in a while and would be difficult to replace as there seem to be very few shops which stock Khyam parts. The joints are easy to change. It is possible to set this tent up on your own, though if you are in a particularly windy spot, it helps to have another adult around to hold it while you are pegging the beast down!
