Khyam Freelander

I have been in touch with the company I purchased the tent but were unhelpful and could not find instructions. Please could anyone be kind enough to supply me with the basic instructions so I can use my tent. Thank You

ChristopherBrit says : The Freelander is well made and thought through and had a good layout with a tall spacious bell end and a pleasant sleeping area. I lived in it for four months last year touring europe. It features a quick erect facility which takes some time to get used to and before you do you will think that you have been given the stash of unsold clothes from the charity sale, but in fact it is quite easy to get up and put down but you must be familiar with it and don\'t get angry with it and start pulling here and there. I would say that you should put it up and take it down ten times each way before you go touring. The weakness of the tent is that the pyramidical fibreglass poles are very flexible and act like a sail in windy weather. Unfortunately I found that even within the two season category winds come up unexpectedly and then you will have some fun! I recommend that you equip yourself with two sets of storm guys and get hold of some of those L shaped or angle iron tent pegs and a stout mallet. The tent will pull the supplied wire pegs out of the ground whereas the L shaped ones will not. I chose this tent because it is quite easy for one man to put up, but you will need to be fairly tall to do that.
