Stefan from Lappland says : This tent is very good. I have only used the tent in vinter conditions above the arctic circle in alpine or sub alpine terrain. Easy to pitch, materials, design, clever solutions, tent poles of equal length, two spacious vestibules very sturdy in stormy and harsh conditions, can take heavy loads of snow. -Ventilation(Hilleberg fixed it for me) When you pitch the Tarra you put the tentpoles in small\"pockets\". These pockets can get filled with water/snow. The pockets have no system to drain water or snow, no eylets in the bottom f.e. During harsh conditions this can eventually be a problem IF the snow or water freezes. The tent poles can then be impossible to remove from the frozen\"pockets\" I have owned a MHW/Trango 2 and the TNF/VE-25 before, but TARRA is so much better! Can i RECOMEND it? YES, this is a excelent buy.

Sturdy but easy to pitch

The Tarra combines the shape of a tunnel tent with the structural principles of geodesic design by making use of the best qualities of each. This model is most suitable for application in bad weather as it is encountered at great heights and in very exposed places. It easier to pitch than other tents of geodesic design because of the hooks clipping on to the external poles. The spaciousness resembling that of a tunnel tent impresses people who do not expect this from this type of construction.

The innovative details that we employ make sure that it performs as well as it feels spacious once holed up inside. The vent high up in the roof ensure good ventilation while it is safely under the external cover.

The Tarra is frequently used on journeys where people travel to the polar environments, on high mountain adventures and out-of-the-way places where a safe tent is essential. Stability and a for this type of tent low weight make it a good choice when strong winds can be daily fare. Simply a tent that appeals to people with contempt for gloomy weather reports.

The construction is selfsupporting which makes it easy to pitch the tent in awkward places. However, guy lines should always be put to use ensuring that wind does not hurl the tent away.

Pitching of inner tent requires extra pole holders -see accessories.

Tarra Advantage:

• Outer tent fabric in Kerlon 1800

• Inner tent fabric in repellent and venting nylon

• Heavy duty nylon ground sheet with PU coating, high bathtub floor

• Adjustable peg loops

• Full size no-see-um netting in near-vertical inner tent entrances (with covering panel)

• Very spacious vestibules for (wet) gear, meals, etc

• Assymetric entrances allow “dry” entry in any weather

• Large, fully adjustable vent high up in the roof, protected from the weather.Venting possible at the entrances for sufficient through-draft

• Versatile guy line attachments

• Linked inner and outer tents which pitch sumultaneously – both can also be pitched separately
