This is my regular basecamp tent for hunting in Norway. I use it both in open mountain areas and in the woods.
I have replaced the original pegs with larger pegs to make the tent more robust for wind (and snow pegs during winter).
I have also replaced the original lines with a stronger type. In addition to this I have also mounted snowflaps around the entire tent, and modified the ventilation system such that it is possible to close all vents. Finally I have also added a hatch in the roof such that I can use a stove inside the tent .
Having modified the tent from a ordinary trek tent to more extreme requirements it now works perfectly. A downside is maintenance since the materials are not strongest - repairs are inevitablly required after each season.
