Ideal for backpackers, wilderness trekkers and backcountry skiers—the Betamid is a smaller, lighter version of the Megamid that’s set up using adjustable trekking or ski poles. Weighing two pounds four ounces, the Betamid provides a bomber shelter for two people. It can withstand nasty weather conditions and will handle a great amount of wear and tear. An optional “bathtub style” detachable fl oor is available that keeps even more weather out and adds only 1.25 pounds. Trekking/ski poles required for set-up.
