ADD REPLY! Rab says: Excellent, so much space, so easy to pitch (it\'s outer first), and no condensation problems: top tent!
ADD REPLY! Stefan from Lappland says: Used the bivy in the Taiga above the arctic circle(Sweden) during the late vinter in good conditions and temperatures between -15*c- 5*c. I allso used a tarp(http://estore.websitepros.com/1764795/-strse-2/Tarp-10-UL/Detail.bok) as a extra shelter from snow. This combo was light and very nice. A have, sofar, not experienced any condensation. Lightweight, materials, ventilation, space, easy to pitch. -Short zipper makes it hard to get in and out of the bivy. My lenght is 180 cm/ 5,91 feet. I belive that a bivy like this one not should be used in rain or an enviroment with high humidity. For cold and dry weather it is very good. I can RECOMEND the Lightsabre for someone that is using it in a dry/cold/hot enviroment.
ADD REPLY! Stefan from Lappland says: This tent is very good. I have only used the tent in vinter conditions above the arctic circle in alpine or sub alpine terrain. Easy to pitch, materials, design, clever solutions, tent poles of equal length, two spacious vestibules very sturdy in stormy and harsh conditions, can take heavy loads of snow. -Ventilation(Hilleberg fixed it for me) When you pitch the Tarra you put the tentpoles in small\"pockets\". These pockets can get filled with water/snow. The pockets have no system to drain water or snow, no eylets in the bottom f.e. During harsh conditions this can eventually be a problem IF the snow or water freezes. The tent poles can then be impossible to remove from the frozen\"pockets\" I have owned a MHW/Trango 2 and the TNF/VE-25 before, but TARRA is so much better! Can i RECOMEND it? YES, this is a excelent buy.

Tent leaked like a sieve, realised why they call it a bathtub groundsheet when it started to fill with water. Most expensive tent we ever bought mistakenly thinking it would be bulletproof. Fortunately when we returned it the shop had no replacements so we got our money back. We quickly bought a cheap Argos tent for our holiday, it has been wonderful and withstood wind and rain in abundance.
ADD REPLY! Gem says: this tent is sewn in completely, apart from the porch area where the grounsheet is loose. all of the poles should be colour-coded...you put the inner bit together first then put the outer bit over the top!
ADD REPLY! Jon says: Helsport\'s tents are unique. This tent is strong light, and has space for 4 persons. I have used it a lot (3 seasons) for the last 6 years. It is easy to set up and stands firmly in strong winds. The airflow is good. It is a great tent.
ADD REPLY! shazza says: martimury. to answer your question montana 6 canopy will fit a sunvalley 8 and it worked well for us as we had the same prob as you, water coming in front.
ADD REPLY! hj says: We have the Colorado 8 it\'s a fantastic tent which suits are family of 4. This is our 3rd year with this tent, we have never had a leak.
ADD REPLY! Sindre says: It`s a realy great winter tent! The big room in the front is perfekt for snow pits. That gives you space to work with making food or organize what ever. The snow flaps are also essential in the winter.

ADD REPLY! The great Dane says: This tent is perfect for high altitude solo mountaineering. Is has just enough room for 1 climber and all his gear. I am 195 cm tall and have not have any problems with the small size of the tent. It is also very windstabil because of the small surface.
ADD REPLY! gill says: We bought one and went to Langdale - it was wet and windy and the roof poles bent and the roof poles bent and snapped. The tent collapsed and is useless now. We are trying to return it but it seems it is difficult to contact outwell direct. If we had been inside it somone could have been hurst in the collapse.
ADD REPLY! mark says: A great tent, shame they dont make it anymore! There is plenty of living space, good size sleeping pods, good sized porch, made even better by the add on Canopy thats also available. All-in one living area so no draughts or bugs! All windows and doors have mesh options too. Very quick and easy to put up and take down. Only one drawback, its an inner first pitch method, which is ok unless its raining.
ADD REPLY! secretsix says: went camping to anglsey this weekend great the first night rained all night no leaks but second night 4 in the mourning the tent blew down great fun driving rain tryingg to get every thing out of a flat tent
ADD REPLY! Kelvin says: Hello, nice site look this: End ^) See you Nice site good site the best
ADD REPLY! Nature says: Very good. Light, very breathable and best of all it weighs next to nothing. Perfect for places when you cant/dont want pitch a tent. The only reason it doesnt get ten out of ten is that nothings perfect although this is damn close!
ADD REPLY! parkino says: its a grait tent its strong and easy. i bought it for me and my gf, and its a verry spacious. and the extra shelter is brillent.
ADD REPLY! Draffy Duck says: Its a sleeping bag cover made of Goretex, so you\'re not going to be partying inside. Or cooking. A thermarest fits inside no problem. The top hoop keeps the material well off your face, and if it\'s a fine night you can just close the midge mesh, let some air in, and watch the stars. I pitched it loose after suffering sleeping bag compression the first night I used it, no problems after that. I\'ve had no problems with condensation. Generous hood for storage? Nope, there\'s no space for gear, so that has to be outside. It\'s well made, and it gets 9/10 because I would like a bit more headroom / shoulderspace. Pros: Light, waterproof, pitches anywhere, takes a thermarest Cons: It\'s a coffin, and your gear is outside
ADD REPLY! PJ says: I have had this tent for years.....it has been to MANY festivals and quite a few campgrounds over the years. The only problem I have ever really had with it was the sleeve for the canopy pole is too tight/small....it also took a couple set ups to figure out how to attatch it to the frame of the tent once it was installed. For this tent to collapse (as mentioned in another review on this site) it must have been in quite the wind storm......This is one SOLID tent with quite a bit of room......I just upgraded to the TRAILHEAD 8.
ADD REPLY! tenterfromdownunder says: Its a fantastic tent, extremely light packs small, very durable and with a 99% fully enclosed inner bar the small vent hole it certainly helps keep the cold at bay. Two will fit comfortably, with thermarests it will be snug but still good. The two entrances are pretty cool, and the pitch the fly on its own is so handy when its wet, you can still pack the inner away nice and dry :) If you face the tent into the wind you can enter in without getting the inner wet as well, its a very well thought out tent. Only downs and they are minor are the lack of peak to help shed heavy snow and and the low roof if you dont get the tent taught enough when you are firstworking out how to set it up. Overall I wuld recommend it to anyone and I look forward to a good 20 years of use out of it.

ADD REPLY! Martimury says: We purchased our Sun Valley 8 last March and used it during wet and windy July. No leaks but major problem with rain coming in under front door. Currently looking for a canopy or extension that will suit this tent to prevent this happening should the weather be unkind to us again this year. Does anyone know of one that will fit?
ADD REPLY! Ima Camper says: The porch tent poles are too long for the tent bag! In fact the tent bag is also too wide and baggy for the main tent so it is very difficult and awkward to carry. I contacted Eurtech leisure both by e-mail [no reply] and by telephone. I got no further than the person on the swichboard who said I have to go back to the retailer. The tent itself is very easy to put up and has a huge living area but it will be too diffcult to transport and store to justify keeping it. I am returning my tent.
